Eco Tourism – A Step Taken For Conserving Natural Habitat

Ecotourism is part of tourism which involves exploration of pristine and almost virgin land without disturbing the wildlife and natural habitat. Unlike the conventional form of tourism (mass or commercial tourism) it’s an alternative measure of creating low impact on environment by making tourist aware of negative impact generated by unfriendly methods of treating natural resources.

Ecotourism is a way of ecological conservation which in turn not only keeps the environment clean and healthy but also provides economic benefits to many people.  This kind of tourism teaches travelers to be sensitive towards the local ecology, heritage and provide opportunity to interact with ethnic people making them feel like more bonded with local folklore.

Ecotourism creates Opportunity of employment, and economic development for the locals and infuse respect for different cultures and human rights among travelers. The movement for Ecotourism started during early 80s when a group of intellectual people thought to keep the pristine locations in natural way so that the coming generation could also take the pleasure of nature’s serene beauty which required least interventions by human beings. Let us see talk about theses points.
